The organisation of conferences by the event’s stakeholders will make it possible to: mobilise all stakeholders around a new vision of development for the Regions and Cameroon; raise awareness on the issues involved; brainstorm ideas; and debate a current issue in order to stimulate change. Each region will have a televised public conference.
The Economic Meetings at the Economic Actors and Local Development Fair (SAEDEL) will be a unique opportunity for exchanges between decentralised local unis and national/foreign investors. They will mobilise more than 500 participants.
An exhibition village with over 500 stands will be built to enable exhibitors showcase their know-how, make new contacts and increase the visibility of their brands. The exhibition will be organised in villages.
“The carnival of the Region” organised within the framework of the Economic Actors and Local Development Fair (SAEDEL) is an element that constitutes an appetizer for the big event. Going just beyond a simple action to highlight the cultural diversity in the region, the carnival would be a symbol of national integration. All cultural areas will be represented at this moment of fusion between the peoples of Cameroon and those from elsewhere. More than 200,000 cultural event lovers will take part.
One of the objectives of the Economic Actors and Local Development Fair (SAEDEL) is to promote the development of regional brands. In order to stimulate young entrepreneurs, awards will be given to local and regional brands.
